Migraines, Headaches Caused by Stress

Mary Ann Ashton Colorado Springs

I had migraines for over 20 years. Stress and lack of sleep are usually the triggers for my migraines. every time when I had a flair up, I would have the throbbing pain typically occurs on one side near the temples, forehead and eyes. they make me very sensitive to light, sound, or mild exertion, such as climbing the stairs. Most time I had also nausea, vomiting, or vision problems with the migraines.

For a period of time, I woke up with a dull headache every day, and had attacks two to three times per week. The pain is so disabling, forcing me to miss work or other activities. It got to the point that I started to worry about losing my job.

One time at the end of a party that I arranged In my home, I got the migraine attack again. My best friend brought me directly to Acupuncture by Dr. Zhai at Chinese Acupuncture Clinic.

After the Dr. inserted 3 needles in me, instantly I felt the throbbing pain in my head and sharp pain behind my eye disappeared. The feeling of clouds and heaviness in my head and eyes are cleared. I fell into a deep relaxation so that I woke up did not know where I was. My friend told me that I had slept soundly for about 40 minutes at the Chinese Acupuncture Clinic.

I did not have any headaches for two days after my first Acupuncture treatment. I felt amazing. Every additional Acupuncture treatment made the migraines less intense and less frequent. I went back for totally twelve more visits. I did not have my migraine headaches back for almost a year now.

I brought my mom and my seventeen years old daughter to the Chinese Acupuncture Clinic. They both had the same kind migraines like mine. Now they both do not have migraines anymore.
